Objective: Celebrating 45 Years of the Junior Chamber International of Monaco in between a maximum of members and former members of the Association.

45 years of action in the Principality

Junior Chamber International of Monaco celebrated its 45th anniversary last Thursday, October 2 in the presence of HSH Prince Albert II of Monaco, Honorary President of the Association.

Over two hundred people attended the festivities which Mr. Gilles Tonelli, representing His Excellency the Minister of State, Mr. Stéphane Valeri, President of the National Council, Mr. Philippe Narmino, Director of Judicial Services, and Mr. George Lisimachio, Head of Cabinet of HSH the Sovereign Prince.

Mr. Graham Hanlon, World President of Junior Chamber International, also made the trip to join in the celebrations. He took the opportunity to acknowledge the many successes that have marked the history of the Association in the Principality.

The evening had several highlights, beginning with the arrival of the guests in a bright room decorated in red and silver, and specially decorated for the occasion by Mrs Maryline Pierre.

Miss Beatrice Boisson, President JCEM 2008, then acted to recall the commitments of the Association and the actions of past and present who have entered the Junior Chamber International as a key player in the life of Monaco.

For his birthday, Junior Chamber International of Monaco welcomed a distinguished guest in the person of Dr Sheikh Modibo Diarra, Chairman of Microsoft Africa, goodwill ambassador for UNESCO and interplanetary exploration for NASA. At the end of his speech carried a photograph of Monaco by Marc Merhan has been offered by the team of Junior Chamber in order to immortalize his visit to the Principality.

Finally, HSH Prince Albert II congratulated the Junior Chamber International for his 45 years of stressing in particular the presence of two of the founders of the Association, Messrs. Henry and Rene Clerissi Agnelly.

To mark the event, the Junior Chamber has offered to the Sovereign a bottle bearing the image of JCEM and containing the arms of Monaco in gold leaf. This bottle, single copy, was designed by Sir David Caporale and directed by Mr. Maurizio Giovanzani Unique Concept for the company.

Forty-five bottles JCEM were also available for guests to symbolize the 45 years of the Association.

By late evening, the twenty former presidents present JCEM hosted the birthday cake along with the Honorary President HSH Prince Albert II, before moving a few dance steps on the track along with all guests .

The 45 years were celebrated with dignity, paving the way for many years to come.
