Start date: January 2011 End of project: October 19, 2011 Director of Committee: Amrita Martis ( commission NBN) Members of the committee: Objective: The Junior Chamber International of Monaco (JCEM), the British Association of Monaco (BAM) and the Youth Association Monegasque (AJM) join forces to organize a debating competition in Monaco en français.
The Competition Three Monegasque associations joined forces to organize Have a debating competition in the Principality en français: the Junior Economic Chamber of Monaco (JCEM), the British Association of Monaco (BAM) and the Association of Young Monegasque (AJM). The competition IS Organised with the support of the Hudson Foundation, Administered by BAM. Participation to The Big Debate IS Entirely free of charge. Each debating team made up of Will Be Two members. The Big Debate final and semi-finals take place on Will 19 October at the Princess Grace Theatre (Room Ponant) and Will Be open to the public. Eligibility There Will Be Two Separate competitions: - The Students Debating Competition (SDC) for:
- Students in a School or University Monegasque aged 15 +
- The Inter-Organization Debating Competition (IODC) for:
- Employees of Monaco based companies
- Members of An association based in Monaco
- Monaco civil servants
Also please note That BOTH competitions are candidates for Whose mother tongue is NOT Français. Information & Training Session An Information Session Will Be Held on 28th September DURING Which the Big Debate competition rules and format Will Be Presented. The Races Will cover the debating competition rules in detail, provider Practise Discussion Session and Will help candidates maximize Their chance for success. Will take up racing in the Green Room (Stade Louis II) and run by Mrs. Will Be. Anne Batt. Please note That entrance for the training sessions Solely IS restricted to candidates.
