* Anton Bruckner (4 September 1824 -11 October 1896) was an Austrian composer and organist. Postromantisme prominent figure in German, he met Wagner leaves an indelible impression on him. His music theological orchestration block differentiated from a basic cell is poorly received by critics and an uncompromising Viennese public strongly committed to the music of Brahms. Defended by Gustav Mahler and other great conductors, Bruckner, long misunderstood musician, is now a pillar of the symphonic concert programs. Tireless perfectionist, it leaves many of his symphonies and multiple versions of different editions. Teacher talent and brilliant improviser, the master of St. Florian in addition to his rustic awkwardness and naivete, never leaves the great symphonic form a transcendent vision for what some will appoint the eternal spirit.
