From 7 to 8 September 2010, the JCEM (Junior Chamber International of Monaco) is pleased to welcome Mr. Roland Kwemain, World President of JCI (Junior Chamber International). This visit is an opportunity to meet with institutions in Monaco, but also with members and candidate members of the JCEM, on the occasion of a welcome meeting with new members and a Plenary Assembly of the JCEM . Roland Kwemain 2010 President Roland Kwemain, appointed by the JCI Cameroon, was elected Chairman of JCI (Junior Chamber International) at the 64th JCI World Congress held in Hammamet, Tunisia, in November 2009. Born in 1971 in Yaounde, Cameroon, Roland Kwemain holds a BA in Marketing at the University of Douala, Cameroon. He also holds a degree in "Corporate Social Responsibility and Sustainable Development" of the Institute for the World Bank. Kwemain is the founder and Executive Director of ADCOME since 1999. As an NGO, working ADCOME equip young people and communities with the skills necessary for development in the Information Technology of the 21st century. He is a speaker on the Executive Youth Leadership and Entrepreneurship. Kwemain resides in the town of Buea with his wife and their two children Marjolaine - Patrice Diana and William. Kwemain joined JCI Buea Summit in 2002 and became Secretary General of the JCI Buea Summit in 2004 and National President of JCI Cameroon in 2006. Internationally, Kwemain served as Vice President of JCI in 2007, President FMEA (Council for the Development of Africa and the Middle East) in 2008 and Executive Vice President in 2009. He participated in eleven of the Area Conferences and five JCI World Congresses JCI. He graduated from the 18th Leadership Academy in Kobe, Japan and International Trainer ( IG). He is a member of the JCI Foundation and has been honored as JCI Senator No. 67333. He speaks English and French. As President of JCI, Kwemain travels the country in which JCI is present. During his visits, he met thousands of JCI members, partner organizations of the JCI, the heads of state, community leaders and entrepreneurs. It promotes the Organization Mission: "To provide development opportunities to young people by giving them the ability to create positive change." Kwemain The President believes that when many more young people will take the commitment to s involve in the search for innovative solutions to society's problems, while JCI will lead the world toward a better future and brighter. JCI is a worldwide network of nearly 200 000 members - including young people in their twenties and thirties of the year from over one hundred countries and territories. Through various projects locally, nationally and internationally, JCI members contribute to finding adequate solutions to problems in their communities. JCI also has alumni, most of which provide support to active members. With the Vision JCI as a focal point, "being the largest network of young active citizens," JCI members demonstrate their ability to accomplish the JCI Mission - "To provide development opportunities to young people by giving them the ability to create positive change ".
